If you are looking for an ADULT getaway don't consider this place. We travel from Canada and always during the summer months. The 3 previous stays were classy and high quality from the room to the dining. Also, just to mention.the non-smoking section of the casino is gone. We will look elsewhere to find a place for a classy ADULT getaway. Couples with kids don't eat in higher end restaurants. The restaurants, other than the pizza and buffet in the casino, are deserted. Sorry, but there is a property across the street with a water park and everything a child would want as well as shuttle service if the ADULTS want to visit the casino.
( and yes we do have children of our own) The hot tub was being used as a kiddie pool with kids actually jumping in off the side! Apparently, the resort is promoting 'family fun'. The pool from one end to the other was a kids' free-for-all. We always travel in the summer months, so school being out wasn't the issue. The pool was completely inaccessible (except from 6-9 am or 9-12 pm !!) for any ADULT wishing to swim or relax in the hot tub.
There were children of all ages from strollers to 10 years everywhere. However, if you are looking for an ADULT venue for a getaway, don't even consider this. Our room was the same high standard we expected. Our previous 3 visits were first class from room to casino to dining. This was our 4th and unfortunately last visit.
